It integrates three fields of research to move clients from values to action: Schwartz’s theory of basic human values to create a high-resolution map of the client’s values; Self-Determination Theory to connect what clients want (values) with what they truly need; and coaching methods from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to turn intrinsic values into committed action. Aus- und Weiterbildung
The Core Values Finder™️ Certification is a continuing-education program for practicing coaches who want to integrate a rigorously validated values assessment into their motivational work. Building on participants‘ existing coaching skills, the program deepens two ICF Core Competencies in particular: Evokes Awareness and Facilitates Client Growth, while reinforcing the remaining six through its structured debrief methodology and supervised practice: Demonstrates Ethical Practice, Embodies a Coaching Mindset, Establishes and Maintains Agreements, Cultivates Trust and Safety, Maintains Presence, and Listens Actively. Throughout, coaches learn to use the scientific assessment to help clients strengthen intrinsic motivation and translate it into action, a well-established predictor of well-being, health, and effectiveness.
